PAIVA & CIA - Intellecta has assisted as consultant in pioneer projects in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of legal procedures for denominations of origin and geographical indications to identify a product as original to a certain country or region. We have also participated as advisors of producers and universities in the main projects in this field in Chile such as the Pica Lemmon and Azapa Valley Olives projects, and collaborated with the Ministry of Agriculture in the chapter of denominations of origin in Law 19,996 as well as in other reports and studies.
We assist Chilean and foreign producers and associations in the protection of denominations of origin, and farmers, artisans and associations to apply for a Seal of Origin, specially created to identify the products as a unique and original product in the country.
